Seedpool - how it works | Nuseed

How It Works

SeedPool provides an environment for Western Australian wheat growers in which to:
  • Apply online to Nuseed (and/or InterGrain) for permission to sell seed of “authorised” InterGrain varieties to other farmers, under license conditions set by InterGrain/Nuseed.
  • Electronically advertise free of cost via SeedPool, “Authorised InterGrain Wheat Varieties” seed for sale.
  • Sell seed of “Authorised InterGrain Wheat Varieties”, under license, to neighbours and other farmers.
  • Be supported by Nuseed marketing and promotional activities for the “authorised” varieties throughout Spring 2009 & Autumn 2010.
  • Have easy access to the Agwest “SureSeed” program enabling eligible registered paddocks to be inspected and certified for varietal purity, assisting product quality assurance at time of sale.

Steps

  • Register your paddock by selecting Grower Register on the left hand tool bar. Review and agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Your details will be automatically uploaded onto the Seed For Sale page on our website.
  • Sell the seed in accordance with the conditions of the License Agreement.
  • After harvest you will receive a SeedPool Harvest Declaration form which you will need to fill out and send to Nuseed. This will cover the seed you have sold, stored and any seed you may retain for future planting.
  • Once you have sold all your available seed, your details will be removed from SeedPool.

Varieties

“Authorised InterGrain Wheat Varieties” available for 2009 registration and 2010 sale, subject to acceptance of the License Agreement terms, are:
  • Binnu
  • Endure
  • Derrimut
  • Fortune
  • King Rock
  • Magenta
  • Yandanooka
  • Tammarin Rock
  • Zippy

Risk & Responsibility

Nuseed and InterGrain are providing the SeedPool system as a service free of charge to authorized InterGrain wheat producers with the intention of facilitating rapid adoption of “Authorised InterGrain Wheat Varieties”. Once a grower has been authorised to sell seed by InterGrain/Nuseed all pricing, quality assurance and related transactions in the sale of the seed will be entirely the responsibility of the authorised seller. The authorized seller must, however, meet the terms of the license agreement at all times. Growers offering seed to other farmers should take account of relevant seed acts and/or legislation.

All costs of the optional SureSeed system are to be met by the grower.

Modification

Nuseed and Inter Grain reserve the right to refine/modify this system. Should you have any queries regarding this offer or require more details, please do not hesitate to contact us.
